Hi! I'm a PPE student at Balliol College, Oxford. I graduated high school only a few years ago, so don't worry, I can definitely remember the stress of tests, homework and A-levels. I think one of the most important things a tutor can do is increase a student's confidence, so I'm not going to come across as intimidating or add to the pressure you already face at school. I'll still be challenging you, though!
I have 3 years' experience tutoring high school level philosophy, politics, maths, English, history, and economics, with both students who have special needs and those who excel at their schoolwork. I teach all the way from primary school to sixth form, and occasionally tutor university students as well. I received at ATAR of 99.9 upon finishing high school.
Thomas Salter

Thomas is a dedicated English student who specialises in close reading, essay writing, and critical thinking skills for A-level. Thomas also coaches English students for Oxbridge preparation. As someone who won a scholarship to St Paul's as a child, Thomas is also specially placed to prepare students for scholarship and common entrance exams. Thomas teaches a wide range of subjcts at GCSE level and below, as well.
Sophie Davies

Sophie studies Italian and Linguistics at the University of Oxford. She specialises in developing younger students' numerical and verbal reasoning ability, often in preparation for admissions tests. Sophie also teaches maths, English and Spanish at A-level, and helps prepare modern languages students for Oxbridge admissions.

As a PPE student specialising in the history and politics of the UK and China, and one who scored top marks in his A-levels, Theo has both the deep subject command and A-level specific exam knowledge required to enable high achieving sixth form students to maximise their potential.

Flo Raworth

Flo is currently studying English and Italian at the University of Oxford. With A-levels in Philosophy and Ethics, Classical Civilisation, and English, she is well-equipped to tutor across these subjects to a high level. Flo has extensive experience teaching English at 11+ and 13+ levels, helping students develop their reading, writing, and grammar skills. She also has two years of experience providing long-term support for Oxbridge applications, including mock interviews, training sessions, and personal statement guidance.
